Giaguaro has been producing tomatoes and purée for over twenty years. The Sarno factory opened in 1980 on a 105,000 m2 site, and production is in excess of 30 million cases per year. It is one of only five tomato factories in Italy to have all the necessary accreditation and certification to supply the UK market, including BRC (Higher Level), HACCP, and ISO 9002. Private Label The company specialises in private label for many major multiple chains in 40 countries around the world incl. Carrefour, Intermarche, Metro, Aldi, Edeka, Rewe, Superunie, Colruyt and Wal-Mart. The Italian Tomato Company (ITC) is a joint venture between Martin Mathew & Co and the Italian producer Giaguaro S.p.A, part of the Franzese Group of companies, and one of the largest volume packers of tomato and purée in Italy with nine factories. ITC specialises in supplying the UK retail sector.
