  • 1. Do you employ policies to manage issues of quality, ethics and the environment?

  • 2. What is your minimum order quantity?

  • We are able to deliver 1 mixed pallet of different products, as long as the individual products are in layer quantities. This is subject to a minimum order value of £750.

  • 3. How quickly can you deliver from place of order for UK pallet stock?

  • We aim to deliver pallet stock within 5 working days from the date the order was placed. This is subject to availability of stocks.

  • 4. Could you deliver the same day or the next day?

  • Yes, we are pleased to assist our customers wherever possible so always try to find a way to deliver on the same day or the next day, this is subject to additional charge.

  • 5. How quickly can you deliver from place of order for loose full container loads (fcls)?

  • It depends where the product is being shipped from. In general terms, it is best to give 4 weeks notice for European product, 5 weeks for African and 7 weeks for Far-Eastern. We will endeavour to supply to your requirements.

  • 6. Can you supply my own label?

  • Yes, subject to quantity required, which is usually a minimum of 2-3 fcl’s but this can be negotiable.

  • 7. Can you deliver to all depots in the UK?

  • Yes, we are able to deliver anywhere in, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland & the Channel Islands. We also have regular deliveries to Ireland.

  • 8. Where do you store, could we collect?

  • We store at East Coast Storage (Handling) Ltd, Kings Lynn, Norfolk and are happy to arrange for our customers to collect subject to minimum order as above.

  • 9. Can you produce products to my specification?

  • Yes, for example we already do this for customers on items such as Industrial Tomato Packs, Pineapple Pieces being a particular cut, Spiced Pizza Sauce to customers' recipes. This again is subject to quantity required.

  • 10. How do we obtain more information concerning your products?

  • We have full specification for every product supplied, you can request this information from the account handler or the technical manager Richard Small. We will shortly be issuing a CD-ROM detailing all the current product specifications and other additional useful information.

  • 11. What accreditations do you have?

  • Since 2015 Martin Mathew has been certified to BRC Global Standards for Agents & Brokers. We are also M&S A List suppliers and AEO certified.

  • 12. What accreditations do your suppliers have?

  • Our suppliers are audited by ourselves and also independent auditors such as efsis & cmi, to ensure the factories are suitable for the Martin Mathew & Co Approved Supplier List. The factories are mainly BRC, ISO9002, HACCP accredited.

  • 13. What are your payment terms?

  • Our payment terms are 28 days from invoice date, subject to credit approval.

  • 14. How do we open an account?
